What is store pick up and how does it work?
Store pickup is a new option where a customer can choose to pick up vehicle storage equipment from American Van/Clarience nearest showroom or service location.
What is an Installation option and how does it work?
This is a new option available to customers to get Van or Truck equipment upfitting done professionally by American Van’s certified technicians.
Do I have to pay for the Pick up option?
No. There’s no fee for picking up from the showroom location except for System One Ladder Racks and Legend. However, if you buy anything extra from the showroom, you have to pay for it separately.
Is there a fee or price associated with the Installation option?
Yes. An installation price will be visible at checkout and that price will be charged if a customer doesn’t add anything to the same installation order.
Should I stop by at the showroom location right away after placing an order for pick up or installation?
No. You will be contacted by the American Van team within 48 hours to setup a pick up or installation appointment.
What if I change my mind and don’t want to pick up my order at the showroom location?
Not a problem. Simply reach out to our customer service team by phone at 1-800-526-4743 or by email at ave.customerservice@safefleet.net to change it to your desired shipping address. Appropriate shipping fees will be added to your order at that time.
Can I cancel my Installation appointment or change it to pick up only?
Sure. Just reach out to our customer service team by phone at 1-800-526-4743 or by email at ave.customerservice@safefleet.net to make this change and we will provide you with confirmation of your request.
Can I change my shipment order to a Pick up or Installation order?
Yes. You may do this, but you have to call us immediately at 1-800-526-4743 after your order is placed to make this change. Sometimes, we ship within 24 hours when items are in stock and it’s difficult to make an adjustment.
How can I return my pick up order?
