Mounting Channels are needed to mount a ladder or cargo rack on newer Sprinter Vans. For 2006 and older Sprinters with standard or high roofs mount to the drip rails. On newer Sprinter Vans racks mount to mounting Channels which are in place on 2007 and 2008 Sprinters but need to be added to 2009 and newer vehicles. These Mounting Channels are sold in pairs here for 170" wheelbase Sprinters. Mounting Channels for 144" wheelbase Sprinters are also available
